- Billy Batson does not trust easily.He can give you his respect very easily, but not his trust.He’s a very lively child alright but got kick out by his uncle and being homeless for a few years did a number on him.Batman is one of a few people that he trust completely.(Uncle Dudley is the first one on the list)
- When Captain Marvel goes on a mission the Team.A lot of the time when facing a tough opponent, he never commands any of the members to stand back or say leave it to him.He just let them do most of the fighting, sometimes giving out pointers or intervene when things got serious.Cause he knows how much annoying it is to be underestimated, Billy Batson.
- Before the event of Misplaced, when uncle Dudley couldn’t find a babysitter. Billy would go to the Cave (as Captain Marvel) to hang out with the Team.Everybody on the team, except for Robin (Cuz he knows about Billy) thought it he was sent to chaperone them.
- After “Misplace”, Billy just straight up asked the team if they could watch him for a few hours because of the law and all.They all thought it was a joke until they realize he is 100% serious.In the end, M'gann and Conner were the only ones who agree (Kaldur had to return to Atlantis, both Artemis and Wally have some kind of homework/project to do, and Robin couldn’t go because of a Gala)

Since he’s in the Justice League he really doesn’t need to be in Young Justice but he shows up one day and tells the kids to expect his protege (actually his non-super self) to show up and hang out with them to see if the kid would like superhero life.

Lmao Billy probably dissociates because I love headcanons and he just loses himself for like an hour and kinda just realizes he’s been sitting there muttering something the Wisdom of Solomon told him when he was Captain Marvel. He just kinda jolts in shock because “Holy moly I’ve been sitting here for an hour??”
He probably gets excited really easily too like sometimes just has a burst of energy and creative thinking and he just has to do something. Maybe he ends up running around screaming like you said idk.
Okay but him dissociating would be even worse as Captain Marvel, because he has access to all the knowledge and power and foreign feelings that he just takes some time to process it or listen to whatever Solomon has been whispering into his ear and he doesn’t really realize how long it’s been but he’s been listening for a while. It would be even worse on the Rock of Eternity because time is meaningless there or warped and doesn’t show it accurately. Billy doesn’t even realize how long he’s been there until Mary is pulling him out saying it’s been way too long and she gets that he’s thinking but his kid body HAS to eat sometime and that’s now. But yeah Billy probably being ADD/ADHD or D.I.D. or Autistic is always super interesting to me and I like thinking about it, and it feels relatable to people/is a cool concept that is probably important to a lot of people.
Imagine Batman walk in Billy just sitting there, mumbling something that even Flash has a hard time hearing.Let out a groan, cuz’ he has, like, a bunch of kids at home to know what’s going on.
And there’s Superman who’s slightly panicking, cause the sight of this little kid that he almost adopt sitting, eyes staring blankly at air is slightly concerning.
- Batman is the team dad.Who paid for nearly everything that the Team needs/wants: Food for Wolf (or other strays that Conner brought into the cave), cooking utensil and book for M'gann, a gigantic pool with salt water for Kaldur, gymnastic equipment for Dick, a hand-to-hand combat simulator for Artemis, and even more food for Wally.Batman would spend a lot of money and a huge chunk of his time just to made the Cave as much comfortable as possible for the Team
- Black Canary is the team mom.She literally teaches them everything: anger management, how to fight dirty, chemistry, cooking……etc. And she’s always there for advice.(also parent teacher interview)
- And who can forget Billy?.Once the team moves past the ‘There’s-a-ten-years-old-kid-in-the-league’,Billy is like their little brother. A little brother who can connect with everybody on the team in some way (from shitty childhood to daddy issue, he can always related to you)
One day the young justice team found an orange cat in their base… Garfield was called to interrogate the intruder. Wasn’t surprised when it turned out to be Billy’s pet, named Tawny.
When Dick walked into the living of the Cave, the first thing he sees was the whole team standing around what seems to be Garfield in his cat form, and an orange with black striped cat kind of reminded him of a certain Lord Of Chaos’s familiar.
“ Who’s cat is that ?” he asked
“ Don’t know”,“Maybe Klarion”,”Conner’s”,“ Not mine!” were some of the answers that he received.
After a few more minutes of talking, Garfield finally changed back to normal.
“His name in Tawny, he said he belongs to some kid name, uhh Billy Batson?” Garfield said uncertainly
The Team pause for a second, before Dick spoke up “I’ll go get our dear Captain”
Ever since then, nobody question why there’s an orange cat at the Cave.
the thing is tho, I with the DC filmverse as it is, I think there’s actually a real place for Shazam
imagine all the kids in Fawcett gawking over cellphone videos of Superman and Zod fighting saying “I wish I could do that, it would be awesome to be that strong”
And Billy being the only one to think “If I was that strong I’d help people, not break things.”
